first hearts
I can recall my earliest drawing experience. We were in a hotel room, I'm not sure where, but my parents were sitting on a bed watching tv and I had paper and a pencil and I began to draw. I held the pencil with a tight fist and drew. I got so excited because I was drawing hearts and I never had done that before. I did the same shape over and over and filled the page. I remember my parents' faces as they watched me, and I remember my heart-filled page of recycled paper.
